I believe I was called to Pastoral ministry. I have a High School education, some theology classes from Andrews vis HomeStudy. I was given a two church district in 2001. I was there for 7 yrs. During that time I also preached, taught at several Sunday churches. One church had me stay for 6 yrs. In 2008, January of that year I was Ordained. It was the most amazing day of my life since the entire community, Pastors of the other churches also came and prayed over me. I found out this last year that since I do not have a BA in anything, and of course do not have an M. Div. the Ordination I received does not and is not recognized by any Adventist entity. Making me a "Bad" Adventist because I slipped in the backdoor to be Ordained.

I find this hard to believe. Many people were ordained in days before the degree was a requirement. While it is now a requirement, and with good reason, I don't think previous ordinations are invalidated for lack of it. There must be other reasons here.
